Nancy Roberts

Nancy Roberts is a freelance Arabic-to-English translator with experience in the areas of modern Arabic literature, current events, Christian-Muslim relations, and Islamic thought, history and law. Literary translations include Salwa Bakr’s The Man From Bashmour (AUC Press, 2007), for which she received a commendation in the Saif Ghobash-Banipal Prize for Translation, Ezzat El Kamhawi’s prize-winning House of the Wolf (AUC Press, 2013), and Laila Aljohani’s Days of Ignorance (Bloomsbury Qatar Foundation Publishing, 2014).
